Should I work out if I am sick? Even just a little?

hey everyone. I just started working out and since this f-ing hurricane came around i think it picked up some pollen so my sinesses are killing me. I feel like crap. my head feels so heavy.
So my question is should i go to the gym risking becoming more sick or take a day off?
    thanks for your feedback

I'd take a day off, it's not really good to lift while you're sick.

Yeah I hate being sick. I know if i'm sick enough to the point where I just feel drowsy and have a headache and stuff, I usually don't think i'll be muster up enough energy to really push myself so i'll take a day off. Sometimes I feel better when i'm done lifting though.

u won't lose all your muscle what u should be worried about is getting over the flu/cold as fast as you possibly can That means rest.

I ususally go with the idea that if the sickness is all in your head area then you should be alright, but if you feel it anywhere else then I would rest. Of course you should always listen to what your body is telling you

A doctor once told me that if it is restricted to the lungs and head, you are fine, just like gr81 said. Personally I would take a day off, have you ever tried to squat with a congested head? I have and it was stupid as hell.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
