Is it more important to eat before or after weightlifting/cardio?

Well, both! But if I had to say that one was more important, I guess it would be immediately after a work-out.
Example, if you work-out first thing in the morning, you would be better off not eating until after our work-out.

I saw a guy running the other day while eating a hot dog. Funny!

I agree with Prince. Both times are important but especially after your workout because that's when the body needs the calories and the protein the most.

In my opinion alot of people OD on the protein after a workout and neglect the carbs.Protein is needed but not to the extent that most people believe.

If your bulking a good meal 2 hours before a workout will suffice, try to eat some sort of complex carb with your meal.

If your dieting then eating before takes you one step backward.
