    Infomercial machines

Does anyone here use Bowflex or the Gazelle or any other infomercial machines? How well does it work in comparison to a standard machine?

    i've heard they suck....

saw some article on these and a few other similar devices a while ago, 2 fitness guru's were commenting on them and i can't remember either of them having anything good to say about them

i think the guy gave bowflex a few minor props, but all the rest got really poor reviews

all the claims they make are false, and the fitness guys that are selling them are doing it because they are getting paid, i wouldn't waste my money on any of that rubbish

NEVER BUY FITNESS PRODUCTS OF THE TV!

If U lift with Mickey Mouse Equipment, U will look like Mickey Mouse.

Nor should you buy exercise machines or benches from the Walmarts of the world. They're ok for accessories like gloves, monitors,
    etc...but that's about it

Only do business with reputable stores that specialize in and sell
    quality equipment.

For God's sake don't waste your time and money on toys, even if all its takes are 3 easy payments.

You may pay more but quality equipment will last you a lifetime
    and give you results.

I think those infomercials are such garbage.99% of it all is junk. The only machine I believe is any good is the one Chuck Norris endorses. I had the benifit of trying one when I was going through physical therapy(shoulder). It was pretty nice and well built but I wouldn't buy one only because I prefer free weights and dumbells.

Really? Never tried it for that purpose. I only used it a couple times. Didn't want to burn my muscles from the stimulants. You know that can happen, right?

I cannot say....as soon as I read that you can burn your muscles...I didn't think it was worth it.

To answer your question though.....I felt it working my muscles. It doesn't compare to the feeling of actually putting some work into it like you would at the gym.....I like to feel that my muscles were worked. When I use the Ab tronic, I still feel fresh. Again, I couldn't give an honest answer to your question. Wish I could. Ya Get get firming gel with it when you purchase the ab tronic.

Do you want the phone number?

How long has your friend been using the ab tronic and, is it working for her? Tell her to be careful. She can really hurt herself. Especially if she ups the intensity to more than her body can handle, she'll cramp up.

Okay...now my mind is working...I tell ya what...If you check out my IM Competition Journal....I'll start using my ab tronic tomorrow and keep a log of how often and for how long and what session I chose to work out. I'll take pics of my abs over the weekend and post them on monday. They'll be full body pics and I'll pose. I'll post the pictures again in January with everyone else. If it works. You should see the results then. I'll keep my log up to date. Check in every once in a while. I'm doing this for ya sister.

hey...if it works.....maybe since you inspired me to use it again, I'll just give it to you in January. Watcha think about those cookies???
