    tricep pull down

    it is quite simple
it really make use of abs...now i find it hard to increase weights due to its effects on abs.
gosh...i have to stick to close grip and skull crusher and kick back if there is no better machines for tricep extension.

You want to keep pushdowns in your tri workout? Stop doing the two arm version and switch to one arm at a time. Attach a cable crossover handle and cut the weight in half (or a bit more), and push down with one arm. You can do it over or underhand, and you can angle your body several ways for unique effects.

    thanks gopro
i am doing these two arm version because some ppl say it is better than one arm because of overloading. I usually do one arm for pulldown. Now i tried two arms back and it hits abs more than crunches...

I would guess that you are doing them standing straight up and maybe even with your back against the pad. If you do them straight up then you will incorporate your abs, you need to lean into them, standing away from and facing the cable apparatus. This will take the abs out of the equation. They are a great exercise when done correctly.

Hitting one limb at a time is actually a greater stimulus than two at a time. Not only can you put all of your focus on the one arm, but you will create more "nerve force" to the muscle this way. I do one arm pushdowns all the time!
