I posted this before on the wrong forum. (diet & nutrition)
My query is: does anyone have any thing to say about Mike Mentzer's theory that we should be training every 4 to 7 days,?? eg. if i work arms on a Monday i shouldn't be training any other body part until at least friday. Are we overtraining..?? (for mass.) ![]() |

well, the literature seems to specify that it can take that long for muscles to fully recover from intense training (strength may take up to 7 days). However, the specifics of your program (diet, supplements, training volume and intensity) will dictate how long you should rest between workouts. Only you will know. Just watch for signs of overtraining. One general rule of thumb is never train a sore bodypart.
