is this a decent lift ?

    I m 16, 205, 5'10.

I started lifting today here are the results:

    Flat: 8 x 135, 3 x 155, 1 x 165

    Dead lifts: 8 x 135, 8 x 155, 6 x 165, 6 x 175

I did close grip, but didnt keep track

Just wanted to know if these are pretty decent for beginning a workout routine.

O and previously before doing it I did 1hr of cardio on eliptical machine, and burnt 1000 cals.

After lifting, I ate steak + mashed potatos w/out gravey.

    First time lifts? Not bad.

Do you have a training plan down?

    Strength? Size/shape?

You should be able to deadlift more than your bench.

I m dieting, and trying to control my appetite, but i m still alittle hungry.

Today I ate for breakfast, a meso-tech mealreplacement bar, for lunch a mesotech bar, for dinner after exervcise a steak, mashed potatos, and 2 small bowls of ziti, just a few mins ago i ate a mesotech bar. According to fitday my cal intake was only about 1800 or so, I burnt off 1000 calories in cardio since I did 1 hr, starting tommorow i m going to do 20 mins of high intense carido workout rather then doing a full hr of low intense.

WAY too young for juice. Get your training and nutrition in order and forget about roids for a while. Some useful supplements for you, if you're looking for some, are creatine, glutamine, and a good multi vitamin.

You are way too young for juice!
Don't even consider juice for at least five years. I'm only a little older than you but have been looking around and even the top juicing pros say no one should start juicing till they're at least 21, most even say 25 cause it can mess with your hormones and screw you up for life. Stay natural, safest and best method right now.

Sorry Brando. Just realized that you already posted in the Steroid forum and got the same feedback I gave you. It's good advice.
As far as your question, those lifts are good for a beginner. Concentrate more on form than weight, though. If those lifts were all executed with proper form, you're off to a good start. Good luck!

Do a search in the Supplement forum. You'll find enough threads to keep you up for the rest of the month.

I don't agree with these "don't even think about juice UNTILL"

I'm sorry but I don't agree with thinking about juice at all. Most everyone can get the way they want with hard work and time. I think most people just want it fast and can get it with roids.

I'd rather stay small than get big with roids and risk messing up my body and health. But as you said in anoter thread to each their own.

If you're just starting out, keep it as simple as possible.
You need to build a foundation 1st, both mental and physical.
Learn the exercises, learn the muscles they work and learn about nutrition.

It's your 1st day lifting and you are already doing what looks like a one rep max and Pyramids. These techniques are for more advanced lifters. You could get hurt so easily where you are at now it's not even funny.

Perfect your technique with lighter weights before moving on to heavier poundage. Also, start with 2 fullbody workouts per week, slowly increasing the weights and sets. Add fancier things like split routines and pyramids after a few months of giving your body the chance to get accustomed to the stresses you are placing upon it.

And remember: You're not going to lose your man breasts by eating 6 mealreplacement bars a day.
