Oh how about that Manut Bol, 7'7" 290, so hugely massive he looked like a coat hanger. There is nothing large about a guy that is 6'8" 240 except that he is TALL.

MissOz, I don't have any pics, but it's really simple, you just take two light dumb-bells and hold them at arms' length with your palms facing your thighs. Row the dumb-bells up like you would a barbell upright row, tugging with primarily your traps and secondarily your delts, squeeze your traps at the top, then rotate your arms upwards and outwards with your elbows slightly bent, so your arms form a "V".

And I don't get the comparison between Bron and Manute Bol. Manute was haplessly skinny for his size. Lebron has a great, functional, athletic body, as a basketball player I'd like to be in that sort of shape as well. I'm 5'11" 180.

    Peace.

Weight is not linear so it is not easy to calculate.

Bone density also is not linear compared to weight, surface area of the bone goes downwards on a graph when you look at body mass, when you start increasing the height of an individual.

6'2" 250+, with another 6 inches I would be near 300 probably. Someone 5'7" and barely over 200 pounds looks as good or better than I do mass wise, despite the huge weight gap.

    YES!
lebron james is a human genetic mutation not unlike ronnie coleman.

He's 6'8'', 240lbs, 6% bodyfat, large functional muscles, and he has a 48" vertical leap. and he's 18 years old!!!!!!!!!
lol. you guys are funny. saying that lebron doesn't have good musculature. 240lbs at less than 6% BF is good musculature for anyone, especially considering he is 18 years, has the frame of an obvious ectomorph, only lifts weights moderatly if at all, and is all natural unlike the rest of your roided freak heros you see in muscular development. so please...

I'd be shooting for delts more like Marcus Ruhl instead of Lebron
ok. better get some synthol then.

dude, no one is dissing Lebron, he is all that. but he is NOT a bb marvel pal. I am bigger than him from a muscular standpoint, and I can probably name a hundred others on this site that are bigger than him too. It has nothing to do with being a roid freak. He has a greta physiue for basketball, but he ain't huge. hge is tall and lean, like every other black basketball player on the planet. so what?

i never said james is bodybuilding marvel. but its stupid how people are criticizing him as if he was competing for mr. olympia. of course james doesn't have a huge musculature in BB terms, but as far as basketball goes, he has the prototypical body for playing that game.

Lebron has average delts for the NBA..... Ben Wallace on the other hand has got some massive delts for a basketball player.

Karl Malone has the most muscular physique IMO.

agreed. ben wallace and karl malone do have the largest builds. but they are both power forwards, and neither one 18.

David Robinson in his prime had the hands down best physique in NBA history in my opinion.

A close second would be Alonzo Mourning and maybe Karl Malone third.

Robinson was one LEAN mo fo, no doubt. he was definately built, but it was incredible how lean he was. You could see sideways veinage in the shoulders when he was shooting freethrow I remember! hella cool. I loved Robinson back in the day. I say he was better in his prime than Duncan will be, IMO anyways.

When Washington Bullets 7'7" Manute Bol, the tallest player at that time in the NBA, needed to add some weight, it was Mackie Shilstone who bulked him up by 38 pounds.

I knew a kid who was 6'8" 175, and you didn't want to be any skinnier than him. He looked like my 6 foot 113 pound asian friends.

I think Tim Duncan is better than D-Rob, but that's just me. Tim can run the floor, he has great range, is unbelievably consistent, and has an entire plethora of moves that he can hit 100% on any given day. Dude is so damn smooth....not to say that D-Rob wasn't, but Duncan will, in his career, surpass any benchmarks that D-Rob has set.

Robinson had more pure talent than Ducan (or maybe any center besides Wilt Chamberlain), but he didnt really get everything out of his ability because of his laid back attitude much of his career. If Robinson had the intensity of Jordan, he may have been the best center of that era. Duncan is more fundamentally sound, has a better overall offensive game and is near automatic, but as far as ability and talent, Robinson cant be beat.
