BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com Hi all, I am looking for a software to track my weight training and diet. The features which I am looking for in such a software include many training variables (not only sets/reps/weights, but also TUT, volume, intensity, density, estimation of 1RM), ability to create meal plans, complete analysis of nutrients (including variety of fats, GI/GL, so on), lots of graphics or reports to analyze trainings/diets/stats, and so on, all in 1 software. The software is for PC (Windows 98), although it would be nice if there is a companion for PPC (WM2003) and they can be syncronized (but this is optional).
Is there any recommendation for such a software? - Josh |

Diet Tracking
i track my training by hand (actually mostly in my head these days). The diet however, I find more complicated to deal with so I've created some Excel spreadsheets that have nutritional contents of the foods I eat and where I can put the quantities for each meal. It automatically calculates the total calories as well as the grams of fat, carbs and proteins and tells me whether I'm over or short of my goal for my snack or meal. It took a bit of time to get used to this, but it works great for me now. I print out a daily menu for 3 meals and 2 snacks (2 half meals). Anyway, it may not be what you're looking for, but if you fail to find something that fits your needs or budget, you may want to consider something like this for your diet.

Try home made log. Write all the food within a week and buy the Musclehedz 8weeks Training journal. I don't know if that will do it.

I have subscribed into activelog.com and looked through it briefly, it seems that it can log many types of activity, but offer limited variable entries to each (for instance, the nutrition only records food and P-C-F-cal, and the weight training only log reps/sets/weights). All these can be effectively done with pencil and paper. - Josh |

excel spreadsheet
Let me look at how I can get you that spreadsheet. I'm new to this forum so I'm not quite sure how I do that, or if I can. At this point, my spreadsheet also only has carbs, fat, prot. and calories, which you seem to say is not enough for what you'd like. But you sure could add whatever you like to it. Are you very familiar with excel; I can also explain what I did. It's nothing that amazing; just a long list of foods and nutritional contents with a column where you put 1 or 2 (for the quantity you want) and then 4 more columns that calculate the nutr. contents for your selection and 3 top rows that show your goal, with the total nutr. contents of what you chose and whether your much below or above your goal. Then, I ask to only see the items where I have put quantities, which brings it down to just the items in my meal or snack, and I copy and paste that to another worksheet. It's not a program, but it really beats having to manually figure it all out
Anyway, I'll see what I can do getting you the spreads. or a sample of some kind. |

I've used the Crosstrainer one before and thought it was good. I've been thinking about getting the newer version though so be sure and let us know how you like it... if you go that way
