One of the posts on that board I read 74 pages of, haven't checked in a long time but it probably kept growing.

"2. Trying get a big chest and arms while neglecting to work hard on the big muscle groups, i.e., legs/back is a surefire formula for failure for Hardgainers."

Forgive my ignorance, but to me, this makes no sense at all. The legs aren't even remotely connected to the arms for example. Perhaps I'm not reading this correctly, but it seems awfully whacked to me...

Working Major Muslce groups strengthens smaller groups. Doing your legs allows you to carry a larger load above your waist. Your body is an amazing machine, that works hard to keep itself within limits, and as balanced as possible. Larger bodyparts also create more GH which in turn allows for more overall growth.

Its a much more complex issue, but this is a very VERY basic reason to do the entire body.

Not only does it produce hGH, but also boosts testosterone levels ; Which raises your metabolic rate, protein synthesis, muscle growth, and other positive actions.
