    Muscle Maturity Question?

I have asked this in a basic sense once before but I want to get a more specific answer. I am a 17 year old guy, 170.6 lbs, 6 ft.
I have seen alot of guys at the gym, and there arms and stuff are huge, yet I am liftign about the same as them, and there arms are still double my size, I'm just curious to know if the muscles "bulk" or enlarge a bit as you get older, I'm a ecto-mesomorph and do not have much trouble in lifting, I'm quite lean and strong for my size, but I'd like my body, arms and chest to fill out and such a bit more and my pecs to flatten out, so do your muscles bloata bit then harden up as you grow? Mostly I want big arms and only have 12-13 inches so far. Thanks for any help, hoep this makes sense, was in a rush :P

Are you flexing when you measure? I would expect your arms to be larger unless the bodyfat was a bit high, I worked out during high school so I remember some of my measurements and I was not much outside of normal.

Not sure what you consider to be "huge," size takes consistency and know how, if what you call huge is what I call huge, then there are other things involved also.

I spent alot of time when I was young working out, and then quitting every few months. I never payed attention to diet, eventually I started trying to pay attention to protein, but still nowhere near enough. So that is the first thing to cover along with the training, is your diet.

I've been trying the diet thing, no excuses I know but it is a tough thing to work on, but I shall keep at it. I am flexing as well, if it helps any I do it with my arm just a bit more in than right angle and the muscle moves up and peaks starting at about an inch and a half away from the inner of the elbow.

In the sense of huge, I think I'm working more on symmetry of the overall body rather than huge, the question I think too had alot to do with I've seen so many guys at the gym with arms and pecs just huge, and all the bodybuilders and athletes with good muscularity have flatter pecs while mine are still bloated out a bit. I think its more jsut a worry that I don't have to much fat but still not alot of tone or definition I can see and the hope to be abit bigger. Picture wise I do have a basis of a guy I look up to for getting in shape:

Thats what I'm considering huge and trying for, hope that helps a bit and I really appreciate the help.

I remember seeing a skit about a pesonal trainer that acted gay, so that he could fondle his trainees in the gym. As he was leaving he was joking to one of the other guys in the gym about how great it was and what suckers they were, and when he walks away the guy he was talking to looks at him leaving lovingly

I have to try and find that and post it in open chat, I saw it years ago...

Mudge was hostile to me, but I'm an exception...
I could make anyone hostile if I want to
But I now give Mudge the respect he deserves.. See, he had to earn it from me first....lol

John Cena is the man. To get to his level though would be an enourmous challenge even with the help of roids.
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

Impressive indeed, I would not say an enourmouse challenge on gear but a matter of time, and persistence. I'm already suspicious

Personally, I don't think the guy is on steroids, I know he tried some bodybuilding and worked for some supplement companies so I would not be surprised earlier, but as far as I believe he's all natural, which as tough as it is I'm working for, haha. I've read he started weight training and working with good eating habits and such at 14, I'm just working on my wrestling physique, not BB so much, so he's a good model.
