Hello, new to bb'ing.
I am in the Canadian miltary and they offer free personal trainers. So i got one to make a 25 week routine (since i just moved from that base to another). My trainer was huge, so i took everything he told me. and thats why they are there, to train us. So for the past 4 weeks i been doing:
mon: chest
tues: back
wed: legs
thur: shoulders
fri: arms
In 4 weeks i gain 6 lbs, and can see big results, i have very low %bf since my section does hardcore running. My diet has done a 180 and eating great, no prob there.
the first package he gave me was for week 6-12 and is only 2 routines which you switch day 1, then day off, day 2, rest. etc...
Day 1:
seated row
lat pulldown
flat bench press
incline flys
preacher curls
DB. incline curls
Hamstring Leg curls
Seated calf raises
Day 2:
Shoulder Press
Lateral/Front raises
Dips
French press
leg press
leg extensions
leg raises R.C.
Ab machine crunch
the next package is week 12-18 and is 3 routies, and week 18-24 is 4 routies.
Im just wondering about this since i only see people do one body part per day. Should i do this for 3 or 4 times a week? like mon, wed, fri? or mon, wed, fri, sun, tuesday, thur, sat, and so on?
i like a 2 day split every other day, it worked for me, you can hit the whole body more often which works well for some ppl, good for pumping up and adding mass
only thing is each week your training on diff. days and thats too hetic for me right now
i progressed from 2 day splits to 3 day, next month i start 4 day splits..... prob the best way, good stuff
