    question on this 1 thing

on my chest days ive been trying to do this for the past few weeks .. flat bench 10 8 6 4, incline 10 8 6, decline 10 8 6 then either pec dec or cables...

    145 x10
    155x8
    165x6
    175x4
    ----
    50x10
    60x8
    65x6
    ----
    135x12
    145x10
    155x6

so then 1 week ago .. since i completed the series i up'd the weight a little

    150x10
    160x8
    170x5
    180x3
(couldnt get the 6th or 4th) (actually did get it but with a big spot)
    ----
    55x10
    60x8
    70x4
    ----
    135x10
    145x6
(too beat to do a 3rd set)

    so now this week
    150x10
    160x8
    170x5
    180x3
(same exact thing - no gains at all)
    ---
    55x10
    60x8
    65x6
    ---
    135x10
    145x8
    155x6
    ...

should i keep doing this workout until i get the ful 10 8 6 4 on flat... or is this not right approach.... ive been considering starting gopros workout for everything .. ive been doing it for arms the past 2 weeks...

I would keep this routine for 6 weeks then think about changing it up.

    But, what do I know

You know more than you think you do

6-8 weeks is usually a good timing pattern between routines, especially for beginners.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

I'd say if your not increasing the reps on with the weight for a few consecutive weeks, still add some weight like 5lbs. You may not really be challenging your body enough and don't realise it. Half of what we lift is in our mind!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
