Reverse Hacks On Leg Press/Hack Machine

I'm always wanting to try new exercises, and saw this one online.I have a leg press machine, and will probable try this, but does anyone know if this exercise is for quads or hams? It seems to me it would be a quad exercise. Are there any special concerns with it?

    Reverse hack

    Hi,
To do this exercise, you remove the platform, put your shoulders under the pads, and basically do a squat movement.

add it in with the squats then. there is no substitute for the squat when it comes to leg training.

If you are facing out during this movement, it should focus on the front and lower quad area(if this is the exercise I'm thinking of) If you go deeper, you are hitting the glutes.

It is the same however you're working a dif. twitch

You have fast twitch and slow twitch. Reverse (especially while using bands) will work your fast twitch fibers.
