    Productive or Detrimental? GoPro?

    Sup everyone quick question....
I just got a whirlpool hot tub... After a workout and shower, I like to relax in it.. I'm sure it doesnt make a huge difference, but is it detrimental or productive to my gains?

Might sound like a stupid question (and prob is) but I've heard Lee Priest bathes in ice after a lift... I've heard others take very hot showers... what's the deal?

I tend to think that hot showers/whirlpools are beneficial to muscle growth after workouts.

contrast showers (where you go from cold water to hot water to cold water to hot water etc) are helpful for recovery...however they have to be cold/hot to the point where they are uncomfortable.

Relaxing in a hot tub is just relaxing. It might help you recover but don't expect miracles.
