Hi. I have a question regarding fitness and I figured that a forum such as this one would be the best place to seek out information.

I am a 17 year old female. Recovered anorexic, but gained weight in the hospital and am managing my illness to the best of my ability.
I have slowly dropped a bit of my recovery weight but now I seem to be holding steady. However the scale goes down, yet my clothes never get any looser. I think that is due to loss of muscle (?)
I am about 5'6 and 1/2 inches tall. I weigh 108.5 pounds.
I don't exercise and so, despite being a slightly low weight, I feel really flabby. I think my body fat levels must be high and I can't fit into the same pants that I wore last year at this time at the same weight.

I am interested in staying the same weight, but losing inches. I know it isn't possible to spot reduce, but my waist and thighs are the spots that I am most unhappy with.

Can anyone please give me advice on how to lose inches, but remain the same weight? What kind of exercies/for how long?
And how soon before I can expect results (i.e; clothes starting to get looser) Please know that if the scale goes up at all, I will most likely freak out; that's just the nature of the disorder.
And how should I adjust my diet? I only need about 1500 calories a day to maintain. I eat about 10 grams of fat per day.

I have agree with vanity through the damn scale away they tell you shit anyway. I melted mine down after a few month of the damn thing. What you need is a healthy, balanced diet with protien, carbs and fat. I know recovering from eating disorders are always a up hill battle, I had more then one friend fight that fight and looking at the scale always hurt them alot especially at the biggening of recovering because they always feared the weight. (In fact that is why I melted more than one scale in my life).

Stop worrying what the scale tells you eat right and excersise and you should have a more healthy body.
