    Proper way to do deadlifts?

    I was just curious on the proper way to perform deadlifts? Thanks!

    Squat down, pick up weight. Just do it how it feels naturally, keep your head looking slightly upwards or forwards, keep some arch in your spine - you will need good strong abs for heavy deadlifts.

    There are varying leg widths, I just go about shoulder width. A super wide stance is a sumo deadlift.

    Try a Hex-Bar for deads if your a beginner... Alot safer

    do adearch not to long a gowe talked about deads and the different tyoes and how to do them, it was a pretty informative thread without much whoring
