Could it just be a normal headache? People get them from time to time. Maybe doing your pushups just brought on the pain of an existing headache? I guess I myself would be more concerned since I really have no history of getting headaches myself. You just have to ask yourself these questions... Are you accustomed to getting headaches? Have you had this pain before? Did you drink like a fish the day before (maybe you have hangover symtoms If no to all questions, see a doctor if your concerned, or the headaches return. Also breathing correctly while doing the pushups will help. We were just talking about this the other day... Don't hold your breath while doing them. Inhale while going down, exhale while pushing up.

lack of oxygen to the body. Make sure you are breathing correclty. Its like trying to stay under water as long as you can and then when come up and take a deap breath your head starts to hurt.

I'd go with Prince on this. Are you keeping your head up or down during the push-ups?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

Maybe having your head down caused a blood flow issue. Try doing them with your head out, not down. But most important, breath correctly. Also discuss the issue with your doctor during your routine physical, or sooner if it reoccurs.
