lifting same bodypart twice a day?

Hi. I just started lifting again so I don't lift that heavy, but I would like to damage my muscles as much as possible. I usually don't lift to the max and have like 5 sets at 12-15 reps. But I feel this is not enough or is it? I lift in the morning and was thinking of lifting again in the afternoon. Is this safe to do for the same bodypart? Or do I have to lift for a different bodypart?

Keep reps in the 6-9 rep range, train until failure, and sets should be in the 6-12 range.

If you want to train twice daily, do a different BP. Somthing like this:

    AM.........PM
    Chect....Tris
    Back......Bis
    Legs......Shoulders

Enough for what? 5 sets for biceps would be plenty, but 5 sets for legs probably would not be.

There is no need to train the same body part a few hours later, as TP said do a different bp if anything
