So all you do is with a dumbell?

Man if all you do is work with a db I don’t think it’s going to do much good. There are a lot of exercises you can do with your own body weight and get stronger, like push ups, lunges, chin ups, bench steps, dips on a chair, crunches.

First of all how much do you think is going to happen in only two weeks using 5kg dumbbells?

Secondly, we have nothing to compare it against.

My advice is eat eat eat and keep on lifting. Two weeks is nothing when you consider the long term effects of progressive training.

And since we never saw a before picture, how can we determine if you have made any progress?
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

It takes up to six weeks before you begin to get the mind/muscle connection. What will seem like an increase in strength is actually you gaining coordinations.

    My Advice...

Ok, you dont wanna have a silly grin on your face when your lifting the mayonaase jars. Working out should be intense. You look like your about to make a sandwhich.

You have been lifting too low of a weight for too little amount of time to see any progress.

Man, you guys are hard on the newbie. But then again, you all started out as seasononed experts and were never beginners, right?

Aloshan, like most other helpful people in this thread said, you need to eat more, lift heavier, and give it TIME. You will not see any results in two weeks.
