is it possibly to get wider?
sorry if this is a dumb question or if it has been asked before.
i am trying to get wider. i am wondering if it is possible to obtain this or is it all genetics. I seem to be getting thicker. Also to get wider if possible is it the back or is it shoulders or both that makes you look wider. I am only 20" wide from shoulder to shoulder, and 5' 8" 158. thanks fro your time and help larva |

sure, focus on your medial delts, of course if you get leaner and trim up your waistline you will look wider too.

From my own knowledge it's a mix of delts, traps, and back. But I'm sure theres more knowledgable people on the boards that will be able to elaborate more on it.

Delts, traps, back, and even neck - but its all illusion other than delts and lats pushing your arms out. A trim waist helps too.

Based on the last time I saw my ex wife, I would say "YES" it is very possible to get wider.
