    Changing Up Routines

I'd be curious, how often do you all change up your routine?

Just getting back into it, and have tried a four day split, am going back to a 3-day. Some people never do the same workout twice, but that sounds too disorganized and without dicipline.

I have heard doing the same routine for 6 weeks is alright, but concerned that could be too long.
    Determined.

I change up my routine every 3-4 weeks. The human body is very adaptable, and I wouldn't recommend staying with the same routine longer than the 6 weeks you had mentioned. I constantly change up my rep#s, weights, exercises, rest periods, and throw in some supersets and negatives too.
