I think you would get burned out quickly doing a full body and cardio every work-out.

I'm not really trying to cut now so I don't do a lot of cardio, but I have been doing a very basic total body three day a week for about a month. Even without cardio I have noticed a decrease in my waist size. The key is to keep the workout intense and use strict slow movements. I went to this workout as a change of pace and even though its very basic if you keep it intense and use strict movements I think you may be surprised with your results.

Squats* 2 x 15
Pullovers* 2 x 12
Bench presses 2 x 15
Standing barbell presses 2 x 10
Barbell rows 2 x 10
Standing barbell curls 2 x 10
Deadlifts 2 x 15
Crunches 4 x 20

*Perform squats and pullovers a superset.

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."Sir Winston Churchill

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."
Mark Twain

Why do cardio? Or an aerobics workout of any kind? When performing a strictly aerobic workout, the body burns calories only during the duration of the activity. However, a high intemsity strength training program and a sensible diet will allow you to burn daily at least 50 cal. per each of pound of lean muscle that you build.
