When is the best time to run?
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com I would like to know if the best time to run is before a strength workout or after? I saw in a fitness magazine that running after is best since it helps remove lactic acid from your muscles and that running before a stength workout makes you weaker is this true?

I've heard right when you wake up, before eating. I'm not really sure besides that though.

That's when I run...In the Summer only. Get up at 4:30am and run 2-miles every other day. "They", not me, say that's when your body burns more fat.

If you want to burn the most fat, do it in the morning when you wake up, on an empty stomach.
If you just want to improve your cardiovascular system/health, then really any time is okay. And the running on an empty stomach bit is really over-rated IMO. I eat a protein only meal an hour before doing cardio on my cardio days and it wakes up my metabolism quite nicely. Personally IS, I wouldnt do cardio afterwards, thats the best time to be stretching and drinking some whey down. So if you have to do it the same time you workout, then before would probably be best ![]() |

Same here, I just can't run in the winter because it gets dark outside by the time I am home from work + it's too cold, and I absolutely hate running indoors on a treadmill ![]() |
