fitting in leg workout with cardio?
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com I would like to know what is a good way to fit in a pounding leg workout while still being able to do cardio. I personally run 3 miles a day but i want to preserve some of my leg muscle so i want to do a leg workout but if i do i will be sore for days is there anyway to fit them both in?

I have found that the legs demand so much effort to train them well enough that I have a day dedicated to nothing but legs.
A bit of indoor rowing or stationary biking to warm up for 5 minutes but that is it before I pound my legs. |

I could never manage cardio and legs in the same workout. leg day for me is so intense and demands so much of my energy.
Cardio the following day when Im really sore feels brutal but great for recovery, the 2nd day after legs is much sore(which is usually my sorest day) |

My rule of thumb: If you can do cardio the same day you did legs................. You didn't train them hard enough.

Well said Jodi!!!
I am a PENGUIN walking home after legs... no way I would ever be able to do legs, getting home takes enough work! lol |

hey ppl, i wondering whether just jumping rope and running is enough to keep the legs in shape? I run almost everyday... and upper body gym 3 times a week. I was wondering a leg workout hurts me.

no, it is not enough. Cadio and actual leg training are two different things, two different stimulus, and two different types of muscle fibers. Train legs as well as upper body.
