Question The best workout program ever!!!

What was the one workout program that pushed you further in results than any other? Sorry if this thread is not original. I'm still a little new here and I have not come across a question like this.

You Ironman staff are going to love this!!!! My answer would be Size Surge, a ten-week program laid out in a 29 page booklet that cost me $9.95 plus s/h. Size Surge was written by Ironman's Steve Holman.

While on the Internet, I read a comment that intrigued me. This guy said, “To say that Size Surge works is an understatement!” I gave this ten week program a try in October 2000 and I have never been the same! I gained a lean 15 lbs of mass. I too can say, “To say that Size Surge works is an understatement!” No, no one is paying me for this thread.

There is a sequel that I also recommend, although it did not nearly have the effect that the first book had on me. Halfway through this program everyone at work was asking me if I'm doing steroids when I hadn't done anything but over-the-counter supplements.

I am always looking for another boost. I'm ready to try a new workout program and I can't wait to hear what programs have worked for you! I am probably going to give Gopro's workouts a shot.

Um, Um, Could it be?

Yes, I think it is!!!

But I could be wrong, LOL

HONEST TO GOD! I am not being paid for this, nor did anyone ask me to write this. Size Surge really worked for me!

So you made good gains on Gopro? Did it help you gain lean mass or just stength and definition? It looks like I will start Gopro's routine this coming week.

Yes, you are kicking ass! Good for you!

I was 165 in 2000 and now I'm 195! About 20lbs of that I can easily attribute to the Size Surge I and II. I never weighed past 190 until the past month. I'm trying hard to get to 200 by the end of January, and then see where I land when I lean up. Good pics Dude! I will have to get new pics with my new poundage soon to post.

Ciao!

i'm going to start GoPro's workouts very soon

just concentrating on compounds ATM, never used to squat, or dealift, or bench (with a barbell) or do pull-ups, so i wanna give a few months on this routine before i change it and get used to the exercises (get a better, stronger base)

what split do you recommend for GoPro's workouts? how many cycles should i do before i have a rest week? and can i alter the odd exercise to suit my needs + gym?

peace

Pick a split that fits your needs...3 cycles before a rest...yes, you can alter the exercises a bit

Ummmm, at 3.0 bf you would be bruising your ass if you sat down too hard on a chair. The pro's barely make it to a true 3% BF for contests and they are miserable the whole time.

yeah 3% is nuts. It seems you wouldnt be able to stay for more than a few days for a contest.

at my old gym they had these electronic BF scales

there were 2 settings, 1 for normal people and 1 for athletic people... why i really don't know!

1 guy put me on athletic, and another put me on non-athletic and my readings were stupid

on the non athletic my reading were from 13% down to about 10%, kinda what i'd expact... but, on this athletic setting I was recorded at 4.7% BF!

i mean, 4.7%! thats just bullshit, yes i'm toned, yes u can see my abs and cuts but i'm not that ripped

i just thing they are very confusing! some guys at my gym were boasting like 'yo i got 3% BF!!!' when thats obvious rubbish

i'm getting some caliper thingys, there meant to be more accurate

peace

You shouldn't brag about not taking supplements. You should take them. It's just plain stupid to train without the extra support.

.....i aint bragging.... i wish i could take supplements....i have tried to ..but my dad does not let me...he has something against them....i have tried to sneak some past him...he caught me and took them away...didn't last long and was a waste of money....and i tried creatine and didn't like it...threw it away..i was getting kidney pays and i didn't enjoy taking it ...its not like i wanna be a big bodybuilder or anything...i enjoy working out so i workout....and my improvements have been good with just eating healthy so why bother?
