I worked legs the other day for the first time in about five months. I don't work legs five or six months out of the year because it's cycling season and they get worked plenty when I ride (3 or 4 days a week). Anyway, I did an all-out legs workout Tuesday, now I am walking around like a frikkin zombie. When I start walking, my muscles are so sore it makes me want to puke. I've experienced the puking feeling before, but only during my workouts, not a day or two after because of DOMS. I suppose that's what I get for not weight training my legs for such a long period of time. Christ, this sucks.

Anyway, kids...don't let your legs go so long between workouts.

Let MBC massage them for you. That will get the blood flowing better and will help with the soreness. But I've been there.............I couldn't stand a light rub! Wait till you try and sit on a toilet!!

I have already. Had to use the sink for leverage.

As fas as the MBC massage goes, she just rolls her eyes and calls me a dumbass for working my legs so hard instead of easing back into the workouts.

Oh that's low. I would get her back! She doesn't realize how much pain your in! Next time she wants some, remind her your legs hurt!

you think sitting on a toliet is a problem, shit, I fell down some steps one time. another time I fell down outside just walking my dog. Had to use a car for leverage to get back up.

After that one, I stopped working out my legs so hard. Not worth the embrassement if someone see you walking along and all of a sudden hit the ground.

Well, my legs get this sore once a year....my first workout of the "off season." After that, my leg muscles only get a little tight after workouts no matter how hard I work them. But this is the sorest they've ever been.

I love it when you stand there and your quad starts spasming that you almost fall down.

GO try walking down some stairs

Don't worry, I can't walk today either and I work my legs every week.

I had to stop doing squats, now I use a smith machine with a flat bench. Put my feet on the bar and push up. Doesnt stress out my neck or hurt my legs as bad.

I have to walk down a flight of stairs to refill my water bottle. On average, I do that four times a day. Yeah, it hurts today.

I'll be damned if I take the evelavor down one flight!

i think there's a connection between you loving it and your legs looking like they do. hmmm....if i can learn to love leg day maybe that'll help me.

what i hate....walking downstairs in front of coworkers trying not to make any faces and acting like everything's just fine when you think you might die.

Tomorrow may be the best day of your life.

Or not.
