Hmm, I have had this happen, but only on heavy squat days. Simply put, you are over-exerting yourself.

Yea I'd say your just going at it really hard and using those abs. Sorta like getting a heavy person who always sleeps on their stomach to do the reverse and sleep on their back all night. It has all that constant force on the abs and makes you sick. And that was a proven experiment by me, wanted to invent a new way to work abs without even knowing you did it It didn't work jsut got me sick heh.

You may have issues due to the blood flow shifting from your organs to your muscles while you exercise. It could also be that you are either not eating or eating too close to a workout. This often makes people nauseous because they have food sitting in their stomach that isn't getting digested and then their blood pressure goes up when they lift and they puke. Yum.

if youre really worried you could try taking creatine or nitric oxide both "reduce fatigue" during workouts and nitric oxide will supposedly increase blood flow

Make sure you have a light snack 30-45 min before you start. That will help ensure you have the energy available for the abuse your muscles are about to sustain. And plenty of water before and during the workout also. 98% of the time you are most likely pushing your body too hard, the other 2% could be dehydration or poor nutrition.

If it's a circulation issue, then drinking like a red bull or other type energy drink before working out might help.

i know exactly what u r talking about man, its not because ur working too hard, i used to have the exact same problem, its the kind that comes before a workout and prevents u from getting a good one, i suggest getting some hydroxycut or some ephedra products and/or listening to some crazy music, picture urself just huge and let the drive take u from there, works every time.

    Sign Number one:

How are your carbs and, are you drinking plenty of water?

    Sign number two:

You could be "over" doing it. When you feel that way...STOP and cool down..training is over for you...atleast for the day.......

Don't worry...generally it's a sign that you're training harder than your body is use to...again, listening to your body will prevent injury from happening. Be smart.

He didn't say he got ill before he worked out...rather..during...

Ephedra usually makes it worse....there's nothing worse than filling like you're gonna barf while having all sorts of energy..........

    Been there...done that.......

This is my opinion...which is not intended to cause argument....

I HIGHLY disagree with you. Like BabsieGirl stated it is during his workout. I can almost guarantee it is from over exertion.

I also disagree with this. If you simply get sick and feel really bad, GO PUKE! You are making yourself sick because of 1) pressure on the stomach 2) or it is something that you ate. Puking will relieve this and make you feel 1million times better, trust me. Also since it is not from a sicknees, rather from over exertion, you will be able to eat after your workout. Plus once you do puke, you will often feel good enough to lift again, I know I have many times. Like BabsieGirl said also, you just need to take it a little easier and let your body adapt.
