I have actually seen some of the personal trainers use a method where they have there client switch 3 diffrent pounds on standing db curls without stopping. Each weight 10 reps.
After doing arms, I like to take a lighter set of DB's and work to failure. It give an incredible pump. Is it hurting anything? helping? or a silly waste of time?

it's okay to do once in awhile, but certainly not every bicep work-out.
Yeah, I enjoy doing a nice dumbbell curl dropset after a good bicep workout. Your right it is a beautiful pump!![]()

About once a month i'll do a high rep-low weight bicep workout just for the great pump it seems to give me. But, I usually do standing barbell curls with light weight. First seven reps drop low and stop mid range. Next seven reps raise high and drop to mid range. Last seven reps full range of motion. Without resting between reps. After that i'll get a 45 pd., 35 pd, and 25 pd. plates and do fiteen reps of eachm decreasing for three sets without a break here either. This probably isn't the best excercise for biceps but I love the feeling it gives me afterwards.![]()
