There are a lot of excercises to isolate the shoulders..

    Military Press
    Seated and standing Dumbell press
Seated and standing Dumbell front and side lateral raises
Smith Machine behind the neck press
    Shrugs

Find which one u like the best and go from there...

I'd say take a heavy book or something with a decent amount of weight that you can grasp and do some front and side raises. Prince was right that smith machine behind the neck press is a no no. I caught myself at the gym today and remembered that one sorry bout that

I always do the behind the neck press. I feel that those, combined with dips, are the top two mass builders for upper body. I have a spot when doing them, and I dont go lower then my ears when pressing.
