My 'Given' workout

    My 'Given' workout

    just recently i got a personal trainer.
    he puts me on a program and it goes like this

    : 3 x 15 chest press(machine)
    : 3 x 15 shoulder press(machine)
    : 3 x 15 triceps pulldown(machine)
    : 3 x 15 biceps curl(machine)
    : 3 x 15 bench press

    this would be on a upper body day. last time i used to training with my own bodyweight(i am only 15). would this be enough or too little for me?

    This your first time using weights?

    If yes, it's an alright plan. It'll acclimate your body to weight lifting, and give you a chance to learn proper form for a variety of exercises. He should put you into a routine with a lower rep range in a few weeks. Is that just a portion of the routine? Did he give you a lower body workout? It's missing your back and legs.

    right now no.... because im a basketball player and im into intense plyometrics and and sprinting 5 days a week(including cardio). i was wondering if a leg training might set me back.

    anybody? will a leg training workout set me back from my plyometrics and sprinting gain? especially when i do them 5 times a week? help?

    upper body routine i do them 2-3 times a week. but almost everyday for sprinting and for plyometrics. leg workout... i have yet to ever do 1. lol
