What are your goals?
What equipment do you have/have access to?
Two most important questions right there before anyone can help.
my goals? to get ripped, i usualy do roll backs, crunchs, twist crunch, bicycles, frog crunchs just in my home and the routine is to do it before i got to bed i dont know why, i also work out my upper body 3 times a week at the gym, im very slim 6,3 173lbs. Id like to do them every night but ive read that your abs need the rest, so i dont know.
Oh yeah and equipment i use at the gym for abs is the incline bench where i can wedge my feet into the bars i dont know how to explain it im sure u know but thats basically the only piece of equipment i use for my abs, unless i start doing some side bends with the dumb bells.
If there is a layer of fat over the abs, you can train them all you want but will never see them.
I use to train mine all the time, I swear I wanted to have those Janet Jackson abs! After every workout I did them. Not sure if that was good or not but when I diet down, they are there. Now I only train them every few days and only a min. amount. Say 3 to 4 sets of 20.
If you're skinny keep up w/ the ab workouts! Try adding weight to situps and such. If you have a little beer belly you might wanna do some cardio to burn off all that fat on top of the abs. Don't forget to properly diet and make sure you have good nutrition. Upper body 3 times a week? Don't forget your legs and back.
Good luck!
