    Strange feeling in the arms

    HI,

I trained back / biceps yesterday, all was going OK till I got to my 2nd set of achine preacher curls. I got up after the set and had no feeling in my arms, I pinched myself but couldn't feel any pain..

Has anyone experienced this ?? my forearms were really pumped.

    Routine:

    EZ Curls 3 x 6-8
    Hammer Curls 3 x 6-8
    Preacher Curls 3 x 6-8

this may have happened when you were doing preacher curls because when you place your arms over the preacher bench and lock your shoulders down the long head of the bicep may get pinched with in the shoulder joint (somewhere between the acromian process and the humerus probably).

I have been lifting on and off for years , but only in the last six months doing it consistently. I have never noticed this before.. it was like when you have a shower and the water is the same temp as your body and you can't feel it on you - if that makes sense..

Possibly caused by the armpit being pressed ito the pad of the machine causing a slight loss of blood flow.
