I have golfed and worked out on the same day. I've always golfed first, then took a break like you mentioned and lifted a little later in the day. If you lift first, chances are pretty good you'll have a lousy round of golf.

I just move my days around. If I go golfing and it is supposed to be chest Day, I make it Leg and Shoulder Day, and then I just do my chest and tris on the day I would have done Legs and Shouders.

I also usually walk when I golf, so I am getting some form of leg workout already, and then I go right to the gym from golf to blast the legs.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

There has been many times where I had to golf because of my job and then hit the gym right after. Then only time my workout sucks is when it was a very windy day during golf. For some reason the wind tears my ass up. Headace, energy loss, and wind burned face.

Sounds like a tough job lol..

I worked out chest and tricep today and still am playing my hockey game tonight. My games and practice change to often to attempt to have a workout schedule based around it.

I'll be a little weaker but I just think about how next season I'll be much strong.
