My worst nightmare. The faster you get it treated the better your chances for a true recovery.

I know of someone who had this happen doing deadlifts, and he had it fixed within the first week by NECCESSITY. If you dont re-attach pronto you are going to screw yourself to some degree. He was an NPC competitor and I have not seen him around for awhile so for all I know it may have been the end of his career.

First thing you need to do is go see a Dr. if you haven't already. If its torn bad you will need to have surgery before it starts scaring over the tear and ends up screwed up.

Best of luck man... You are young, so you may have a really good chance for recovery here. I try to stay somewhat sane with the weights because I am entering territory that I can feel is pushing my body.

How exactly did you do it?

My 69 Firebird had no safety with the window and those motors were STRONG as heck back then. Nowdays almost every car will have a safety that will not allow the window to go up with an obstruction, so I assume it was an older car.

I dont think you would have bicep seperation at all, but if after two months it bothers you, you have something wrong for sure.

im pretty sure it was from a window of an old blazer i dont even kno if it was motorized or not these kids crashed my sisters party i went to strangle him and he rolled the window up on my arm i didnt know if it was from that though because couple hours lada i got jumped by bunch of kids,i takled one of the kids to the floor and rolled over on my arm but i dont think that couldve done it so im assuming it was from the window my arm started hurting around 4 in the morning it looks messed up though muscle is soft n no lower bicep i think it might be that the lower bicep got pushed up in my arm

ouch reading that made me cringe. I was just thinking about a similar situation the other day say if you tore something in the arm how would you be able to train, so many body parts and movements use the bicep. As for you dedicated id say go see a Dr. as well if its bothering you that bad.

Man, that is rough when you tear your bicep and it rolls up like a window shade.

About 7 months ago I was at work, training a client, and this guy was next to us doing bodyweight dips and then all of a sudden he just hit the ground. Tore his peck right off. he was in so much pain. I ran over, he had his hand on his chest and I aske him to move his hand and it looked like his peck was just hanging there....gross.
