I have an olympic bench you can see in my gallery, traded a buddy for a compound bow.

I have a Marcy Pro also. Got it at Wal Mart too. Also have a Para Body Flat bench that I picked up at a garage sale for $20.00 in perfect condition.

Other than the weights themselves, the bench is probably your most important piece of equipment. Buy a good, olympic bench, one that inclines and declines and even accepts attachments for legs and preacher curls. I have a Nautilus but Body Solid also makes good benches. Just don't buy a cheap bench and don't buy one that the cradles are so close together that you pinch your hands everytime you bench.

I have a marcy and do not like it *at all*

The position of the bar stands is in such an awkward position I pinch my hands. I hate it. Good for free weights but bar benching.... no.

Why would you order stuff from New York Mudge when there are tons of excellent fitness equipment retailers here in California?

My Xodus bench that I got at Play it Again Sports is actually pretty decent.

You can see a picture of it here:

However, the above site is a rip-off. I got mine at Play it Again for around $150.00.

I have never seen such a fabulous pullup bar as the one from this website. Big 5 Sporting Goods doesn't cut it my friend
