Did i over do it?
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com Just wondering what others might think, i have been working out for 10 months 4 - 5 times a week and i have never taken more than 3 days off. Well for the past 3 months everything i do in my workout is heavy for 4 sets with 4-6 reps. Recently i started to feel run down with no desire to workout but i forced myself to do it. Last Friday i decided not to go until i feel better, its been 6 days and i still feel like i worked out, my muscles are kinda sore and my joints hurt. My appetite is good i have to eat like every 2.5 hrs or so if not i start to crash and i feel nauseated, i work but have no desire to do other things. I think i just over did it to long, anyone have an idea of what might be going on with me?

Sounds like a classic case of overtraining. If its really bad, you may need as much as 2 or 3 weeks off. Just have to feel it out and stay away from the gym until you're feeling like your old self. Give your body the rest its craving. You may want to post your workout routine (if u havent already), so we can see what needs to be changed. Poor diet, of course, can also lead to overtraining.

It may help to load up on some glutamine and creatine. Also be sure to drink plenty of water.

The best thing is dont get too discouraged. Chang up your routine. I mean really change it up. New days for muscle groups, new exercises etc. You need something that is going to make you enjoy working out again, and this will help.

uhhh, call me dumb...shouldn't that be "MEAT" a girl?
![]() If you aren't taking a multivitamin,I'd recommend it. they've covered pretty much all the bases... have you seen any increase(or decrease for that matter) in your strength? IE..poundages going down, reps lowering in amount,etc...? if so,maybe that type of blitz is not for you. Long story short, it's best to note that not everything works for everyONE. |

Well I did it , I took ten days off after 10 months of training . Today was my first day back. It was a good work out but I definetly lost some strength . I hope it comes back easy.

It should flow right back sooner than you'd expect. I just recovered from a torn quad, and I am already back to doing 360 lb front squats,540 hacks, and 720 leg presses.
it happens FAST,just don't rush it before it's ready. |
