HIIT question

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS

would it be a bad idea to do HIIT right after I lift? I am afraid of losing muscle and was curious if that doing so can aid in muscle loss. If so when is the next optimal time for HIIT besides the morning...thank you

i don't know if HITT would increase muscle loss, but i doubt it since a lot people do cardio right after they lift and it helps with fat loss.

Ive read studies that suggest doing cardio after you lift is detremental to your muscle gains and puts your body further into a state of diminshed glycogen. You want your body to recover after a workout as soon as possible. The first thing your body wants to do after you workout is replenish everything it lost. The NEXT thing it does is grow. So I would recommend you let your body rest and grow and THEN do HIIT later in the day or the next day.

I would recommend, from personal experience to do cardio anywhere from 8 to 12 hours seperate from weight training, and if you can, schedule it on your off days.

Just my two cents

Im in agreement as well. I would especially not reccomend anyone doing HIIT after weight training.
