I have to admit I agree with him on some of those! Everybody's different though! I try to lessen my chance of injury (which I'm incredibly accident prone) by switching between those and movements he advises.
check this out. Is this the most ridiculous article you have ever seen or what?

Foreman_Rules could masturbate with one hand and finger his own anus with the other at the same time.
he is proud of this fact.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
the only one I agree with are the behind the neck presses.
I think the other excercises are basic staples of any trainig program, IMO. I really don;t agree with some of his alternatives to those exercises either.

This article is a joke...there's a reason why these exercises have been as enduring as they have, and that's because they WORK...supplements that don't work have no longevity, and this applies to exercises as well...I do what most would the most dangerous exercises with cleans, jerks, snatches, pulls, and a variety of deadlifts/squats being the core of my training routine. Does this make me an ignorant old-schooler? I'm 19 and was a former advocate of the Smith machine and isolation machines, until I learned two years ago that the hardest, heaviest movements are the ones that will translate into the most physiological and performance benefits. Also, they build character, which is the most important thing any trainee can take away from the gym.
Peace.
