you're kidding right?

physiologically speaking a muscle grows as a whole, it does not matter if more fibers get stimulated in the inner, upper or whatever part of the muscle, the entire thing will grow, that is why you cannot build a peak, you either have the genetic make-up in the muscle for a peak or you do not.

why is this so difficult for people to understand?

I'm not trying to say that at all. Just saying it isolations that area of the chest more. Not saying anything about muscle growth.

again, I see no way to isolate a region of a single muscle, and the pec major is a single muscle.

So you get the same burning sensation doing incline db press, as decline db press?

I'm pretty sure the very upper part of the chest is actually a different muscle from the main portion...
