Currently using the 2 up / 4 down rule
Considering super slow with 4 to 6 rep range.
Any advise on this?

I Think he's asking if he should change his rep speed. I say just experiment with it. I don't concentrate on it too much, but if i had to say a speed I'd say i do about 2 up/4 down.

super slow reps=super slow movement. that is not how the human body is built to work. Super slow training can be useful once in awhile, to mix things up and maybe increase some hypertrophy (TUT) but other than that it is usless in my book and I rarely ever do anything super slow....I tend to lean more towards explosivness.

Just be surec to always be in control of the rep making the targeted muscle do the majority of the work and get the negative on the way down. Simple!

I like to vary reps based on how I feel, look up TUT (Time Under Tension) for interesting stuff on that.
