week off
how important is a week off? im considering taking a week off (i ahvent in at least a year) but i get anxious when i dont exercise for a while. what exactly does taking a week off do? could i do cardio that week? im trying to bulk and have a hard time putting on weight, would this be really bad for me? thanks for yer helps

If you really don't want to take a week off, then I suggest you just do a very low intensity workout for a week. I understand the anxiety; you have seen me when I don't lift for a week...
I was stronger in a couple of lifts after I took a week off. I made sure I continued to eat approximately the same amount so that my body didn't catabolize any muscle. I didn't do any cardio when I took off, but I can't see it hurting anything... |
