    Flexible?

Wondering if how you would rate your flexibility? I would say that I am prolly more flexible than most.

My flexibility is terrible and always has been.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

How do you calculate flexibility in percent? I'm a moron I guess.

Always scored off the charts on flexibility when they'd do those "physical fitness" tests in p.e. (sit and reach)

As a kid I was always extrememly flexible. Less so now b/c I don't work on it much but I'm still far more flexible than most.

Just made that way I think.

I think he means what percentile of the general population do you estimate that you are in. I'm more flexible than the average person, but people who are into martial arts and such are definitely more flexible than me. However, I do about 15-20 minutes of stretching 6 days per weeks, so I'm flexible enough.

Honestly I do not even compare myself to the general population, it's not a valid comparison when most people are unhealthy, out of shape, overweight, etc. they eat fast food, dont weight train, etc.

Im probably the most unflexible person on the planet. I doubt I could touch my toes if I cut them off and laid them on the table.

Not sure what percentile group I fall into. When I was studying Karate (about 20 years ago), I could bend over with my knees locked, and put my palms flat on the floor. Now I can put only
the first joint of my fingers on the floor.

Let us assume that our target population is just people who train then. And yes, I am referring to percentiles.

I am not flexible at all. I can't scratch my own back without the assitance of someone else or the cornere of a wall. My hamstrings and hip flexors are incedibly tight yet, out of stupidity, I never stretch.

I've never been very flexible. I was doing yoga ever week for about a year and got extremely flexible. Havent been able to make it to a class for several months and now I'm right back where I started. As long as my muscles keep growing, I dont care.

My flexibility is not that great, but I can at least touch my toes in a standard sit and reach test. I have a few stretching programs especially for the hamstrings and hip flexors if anyone is interested.

My flexibility is poor also. Been meaning to work on that.

My lower body isn't too bad, but my upper body flexibility sucks.

Nope. It is funny because people are always saying they can't squat becasue they are not flexable enouhg. I think it is more lack of understanding of the movement. I am completely un-flexable in my hamstrings and calves yet I squat ass to the grass all the time, even deeper than those more flexable than I.

having inflexible hamstrings is not a good thing...it can really hurt your lower back which is something i realized a while ago...ever since I incorporated more stretching, my back feels alot better.

On should always stretch before hitting the weights, less pain the next day.
