    Running

I do HIIT for cardio and 2x a week doesnt seem enough. If i do it 3x a week....will i lose muscle mass? Im starting to eat assloads!(of good food). So i guess i wont lose muscle if i eat a lot and lift even if i run 3x a week right? its only 60 min of running a week

If you are eating "assloads" then is it safe to assume you are trying to put on size? If it is safe to assume that you are tryign to put on size why are you doing 3 days of cardio?

As long as you are keeping your runs down to 5 miles a week or less you will be fine. I can't see you losing any mass at all, I run up to 25 miles aweek right now and I'm not losing yet. Keep your runs short, very fast almost sprinting and you wil see huge gains. Look at sprinters, they are built like bodybuilders as sprinting is explosive by nature. You will also shed fat and give your heart and lungs a great workout.

I am the same way, but it is a damned hard thing to do. I find that I have to retain a little fat if I want to get bigger at all. If I remember right, you are also young. Our metabolisms are very active already. If I don't eat enough, then my gains are dramatically affected. However, if I eat enough to notice gains, then I don't lose any fat. =\

Bigger and leaner? That sound like an oxymoron to me...
