My brother needs some suggestions for trimming up

My bro is a big fella, who is very knowlegable about training, supplementation and is at an advanced level in his training. He uses HIT training, is training to play football for a university but has one major problem that he cannot seem to get right. He cannot get a vascular look AT ALL.

He is 20 years old, 6'0 and weighs about 223 lbs. He has a 34 inch waist, benches around 350, deadlifts about 450 and has a squat of around 350 to 400. He uses HIT, and it works extrememly well for him, especially for strength and size (which he already has plenty of). However, he has no real definition at all. He doesnt want extreme definition, but would like to get his bodyfat to around 10 to 12 percent. He has, what seems to me a lot of subcuteaneous fat around his chest (especially his nipples, which are naturally puffy), his waist isnt big, but carries fat to where you cannot see his abs, and his overall body just seems to resist vascularity. Let me say, hes pretty lean, very strong and in good shape, but has a problem with what I believe to be the subcut. fat and cannot get rid of it. Almost like getting rid of that unwanted babyfat.

He has tried various cardio routines, eats clean and anywhere from around 2,000 calories to 2, 500 calories per day.

Remember he is pretty advanced, and this question is really directed for anyone with solid knowlege. He is not going to change his weightlifting routine (because it has worked so very well for him and his strength needs to continue to go up because of football) but is willing to listen to any suggestions about diet and cardio.

Because I am a personal trainer, and actually he is getting his certification, I have advised him of a few things in the past, which have helped, but havent done the complete job.

In the past I had him:

Drop calories to about 2, 500 per day.
Put him on 6-0x0 for armatase inhibition
Had him try Twin Peaks cycle type dieting stradegy.
Tarataxadone to see if he was holding excess water.

My main belief is that he may have naturally high estrogen levels or progesterone problems???

Any good advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Some points to consider:
    - Tell him to drop his body fat. 6%-8%
    - Yes, drink more water.
    - When supplementing with creatine, the water retention makes your veins disappear. Watch out for that.
    - There is something some place about sodium and vascularity, the correct administration makes a big difference.
-Donīt forget the fact that when you really "work" a muscle the need for blood in that area is greater, so vascularity increases there.
    - There is something about using ECA but I am not sure about that.
