Angry Left Bicep isn't working the way I want it too!

generally, I have a very good mind-->muscle connetcion. I'm very mindful of my reps and keeping form as good as i possible can, sqeezing at the top, slow on the negative.

but my left bicep seems to have missed the memo. my right will get an awsome pump. I can squeeze at the top, feel every fiber contract (metally) and fight it on the way down.

My left, 75% of that. I'm never satisfied with its performance, but I'm more mindful with that one than any other part of my body. it'll do the weight, but it is not getting the burn and pump of the right.

I'm frustrated beyond words.

tips, tricks, rumors, anciet secrects...ANYTHING to get that POS left arm going...

*groan*

thanks in advance

What exact bicp exercises are you performing? Perhaps if you change exercises you can build up your strength on the left side.

I had the same problem with my right arm a few years ago. I always threw in a few extra reps for the weak arm until the strength evened out. My left is still stronger but my right can hold its own now.

Old workout:
45* incline DB curls (4x8)
DB Hammer Curls (3x8)
Single Arm Cable curls (3x10)

New Workout (started yesterday)
BB Curls (4 x 6-8)
45* Hammer Curls (3x8)
Single arm preachers (3x7-8)

change workouts every 6-8 weeks, with a mix up week tossed in.

that is the weird thing. Strength wise its fine. but in mass and "feel", I'm not sure its performing like I want it too. But I'll try that. I am using the mirror to check for form and making sure the exxercises are ot being performed differently. maybe come extra work will help develop the mind-->muscle connection better.

thanks all.
