In one month? Shoot for the moon, but dont expect much. You either dedicate your life to this, meaning years of consistent work, or you really can't expect a huge makeover - not in a single months time.

I could see at best, for a newbie, maybe an inch on the arms just as a base measurement. I did this around the time I was 18, and I still have the stretch marks nearly 10 years later.

Become a diet expert as fast as possible.

TIME AND DEDICATION!! If this was easy everyone would look the way they wanted to. With 17 years of training I just got my Pro card with the WNBF 2 years ago and still have a long way to go. Just work hard and be patiant and the gains will come.

And yes "become a diet expert as fast as possible!"

well, obviously you need to increase protein, calories and train hard & heavy, realistically unless you're gonna use "something" how much muscle do you really expect to gain in a month?

Hehe. I was reading a pamphlet in gym class today, and it said increasing your protien intake for better weight/muscular gains is a myth.. i just wanted to add that, hehe

The odds are heavily against you, I can easily lose way more weight than I can gain in a short period of time, fat or muscle.

Then again, if she is not a great dieter...

I'll throw in my .02 cents.

If she wants to lose weight and you want to gain weight, look at it from a longer-term outlook.

You two could compare after 12 weeks, then again in 12 more weeks (6 months).

That would also have you possibley focus more on the long-term lifestyle of health.

I think that almost everything that comes quickly in life seems to have less value, anyway.
