For the first time in my life

For the first time in my life I can now bench more than my weight. This is huge for me. Im totally stoked. I put up 185lbs on decline bench for 10 reps. I couldnt believe it. Im sure If I could get 10 reps at 185 that I may be able to get 200lbs up. This is huge. I really havent concentraded on strength but when I first started I was using the 40lb dumbells for flat bench and now I use the 60lb dumbells and I can get 10 reps on the first try. Is this right inline with 6 months of working out hard?

I just got to the same 'milestone' as you about a month ago. Very cool.

Man, if you are doing 10 reps @ 185, you can definately get 200. Probably 215 or 225.

I can do press 65lb dumbells 10 times but I can't do 185X10 I assume then, that you could be moving much heavier dumbells.

    Good for you, man!

Yeah, if you can do 10 reps at 185, you can certainly do 200.

I was psyched as hell the first time I benched my body weight. The average guy can not do that. I want to bench 225. I've never done that. I am currently at 185x5.
