    Something that is not expensive and if it is possible, portable. Thanks

    well I work at the same place i workout so it is all the same thing anyway. No sleeping late tomorrow . but if i play my cards right thursday I will get to sleep in

    oh, you want a machine that calculates it. I was going to give you a formula so that you could test you VO2(sub max). It is hard to test your real VO2 max without lad equiptment. Sorry, misunderstood.

    Gday

    Some polar heart rate monitors have a feature called ownIndex. It measures your vo2max somehow and is suppossed to be reasonably accurate. You just input your sex,age,height,weight and then sit very still and be relaxed for 5 minutes and it gives you a reading. I will do this sat morning casue i just bought one and then tell you what i got.
