Lying shoulder press VS regular dumbell press

    Front deltoids

How do you think the neutral grip elbow tucked in lying press compare to the regular dumbell shoulder press?

As I see things the "lying press" is almost a compound front raise. It might be a safe alternative for those of us that suffer from impingement caused by overhead pressing?

I've never done the lying press on a regular basis before. I am considering giving it a try....

    What do you think?

Go for it. Do it...do it.
