    question about gopros program

i'm just wondering, how do you get sore after using gopro's program? you only do like 2 sets, and 3 exercises. (for a certain muscle group, i mean) i'll try it at the gym tomarrow but i doubt i'll feel sore at all the next day, even if i use very heavy weight. it doesnt seem like it's enough to make a significant difference... but i'm probably wrong. i'll see at the gym tomarrow.

oh and i have another question, if i do a good chest workout on sunday, and i'm not sore at all on wednesday, can i do the chest again? all this once-a-week stuff seems like its not enough exercising.

Usually you need to rest a MINIMUM of 72hrs before hitting a muscle group again, or overtraining could occur.

    SkinnyKid,
I'm not going to go into great lenght but I will tell you one thing: HAVE FATE IN THIS PROGRAM! If you wanna bulk, this is the way. It is designed to shock your muscles every week in a different way so that they can never addapt. As a result of this you WILL get sore if you do it propertly. You'r saying that the sets are too low but guess what, you are burning less calories this way, and instead of questioning the program, try and find a good diet rutine so you can double those calories lost. I was ignoring a very important fact for so long: 75% of how you look is food and 25% is weight training. Have fun.

    Skinnykid....
BELIEVE ME! You will be sore if you are lifting heavy enough and with proper form!! GP is a genius. Seriously.. trust him. I can honestly say I don't do anything without checking with him first. Ask him what a pain in the tush I am....
He has been my trainer for a year now and I have NEVER been in as good shape. I still need alot of work... but my strength has tripled. I am going for size now... I am 5'6 120 pounds and would LOVE 5 more pounds of muscle!! I trust GP will get me where I want to be....

Today is LEG day for me... power week. OUCH!!!

    Skinnykid,
Have you read what gropro has wrote about newbies and P RR S
    If not do it!

Then after that said it is very affective, though not feeling it after or even the day after doesnt mean it did not work, you were probably burning out your muscles before anywho.
Give it a try (Your version of p p rr or p rr rr depending on your goals and level) and let us know how it works out for Ya

Today is arms for me..... I cant wait
